I'm Dr. Damien Mac Namara. I've been teaching supply chain management and ERP for many years, and I wrote the book and the labs this course is built on. Alongside teaching, I run a small games company, and I've long been interested in what games and gamification can do for learning: SCMBase is where the two meet.
At your own pace: most people spend a week or two on each chapter. Your access lasts 6 months from the day you enrol.
No. The course starts from how a company is organised, and builds up one process at a time. If you've worked in a company, you'll recognise a lot of it.
No: it teaches how ERP works, not one vendor's screens. SCMBase uses the same ideas you'll find in SAP, Oracle, Dynamics and Odoo: master data, documents that follow one another, the three-way match, MRP and the general ledger.
Every certificate has a number that employers can check at scmbase.com/verify.
A laptop or desktop with an up-to-date browser for the labs and the exam. You can watch the videos, read and take the quizzes on a phone or tablet too.
You have three attempts at the final exam. After that, a resit costs €29. The chapter quizzes are practice: take them as often as you like.
Yes. Paddle can issue an invoice with your company's details. For several people, email hello@scmbase.com.
Your class gives you the labs your lecturer chooses. The certificate is separate: it adds the full course and the final exam, if you'd like a certificate as well.
